As it feels like the end of the world, how about we go to the Farm at the World’s End? This escape is the home to artist Sarah Ryhanen. Sarah is the founder of Saipua, studio that focuses on farming, soap making, and wool crafts. Her farm in upstate New York and it looks absolutely idyllic. On her farm she keeps a flock of sheep, and the wool is turned into hand spun yarn and knitted into mittens available in the shop. The sheep milk is used to craft small batch soaps, infused with herbs and other natural ingredients to cure a variety of ailments. There’s a vegetable garden, and dinners are often made with ingredients sourced from right outside the farmhouse door. Farming life is not easy, but the beauty she shares on her Instagram proves it to be absolutely worth it. I suggest a follow for the stunning shots of florals and the unfiltered reality of the labor of love this paradise is.
